Despotiko
Despotiko is a tiny deserted island, densely inhabited in ancient the times, located in the Cyclades group, south of Antiparos Island. Geographically, it is located in the center of the Cycladic islands and offers several stunning beaches with the greatest one being Livadi beach, which has beautiful silver sand.
The sanctuary of Despotiko is a one-of-a-kind in the Aegean Sea. It is a unique and preserved archaic sanctuary that is thought to date back to the 7th century BC. Despotiko archaeological site is an excellent kept archaeological settlement and a unique travel experience, combining swimming and exploring with the educational side of its extensive history.
